The role

The Client Experience team are looking for a confident Performance Manager / Senior Performance Manager with strong Account Management skills to manage the day to day running of their clients’ accounts and regions, for our London Old Street office or our head office in Reigate. You will be responsible for managing the daily activity and strategic development of our pillar clients, from taking the brief, developing the media strategy, and working with the internal specialist teams to  meet your client’s objectives, also having support from Media Executives and the wider team. You’ll come in and lead, have independence and act with authority whilst also getting support from senior managers. You’ll effectively lead both face-to-face and virtual meetings, acting as Space & Time’s representative and make decisions. You’ll have a can-do attitude and enjoy offering solutions and getting involved.

Client Experience team summary

The Client Experience team sits at the heart of the agency and acts as the main point of contact for our clients, working closely with the clients to help them deliver against their marketing objectives. The team are responsible for taking the clients briefs and establishing the right strategy and products to deliver what they need. The role largely centres around application of omnichannel media planning and buying, and other capabilities that the agency offers, including data strategy, technology, performance creative and training.

Overall, our team are responsible for maintaining that relationship and ensuring that Space & Time continue to provide best in class service.

Key duties

  • Takes responsibility for the client services team and agency output, and can identify, recommend and implement improvements to processes and / or ways of working to enhance client relationships
  • Confidently manages client budgets and creates deals
  • Mentoring junior client services team members
  • Managing “always on” activities, setting up new campaigns, and optimizations
  • Liaising with our specialist teams, tracking and reporting as well as providing insight on market analysis and both media and creative performance
  • Attending regular client-facing meetings and presenting
  • Captures and relays information/ actions clearly and promptly. Maintains strong relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers
  • Supporting new business growth and contributes to the agency's growth and success
  • Developing strategies for clients
  • Proactively looks for new solutions and ideas for clients
  • Some regional travel required to visit clients

Key Skills

  • Comprehensive level of media knowledge
  • Demonstrates an understanding of industry trends and tactics for media planning and buying
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Google Analytics
  • Experian – location analyst (desirable)
  • Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, SEO and Programmatic knowledge
  • TGI & touchpoints (desirable)
