Position: Sports Graduate and Learning Support Assistant

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Role Overview: As a Sports Graduate and Learning Support Assistant working in schools, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and coaching students in physical education and outdoor activities. In addition to your sports responsibilities, you will provide learning support across all subjects, helping students achieve their full potential both academically and physically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and coach students in physical education and outdoor activities.
  • Develop and implement engaging sports and fitness programs.
  • Provide learning support in various subjects, assisting with classroom activities and individual student needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the overall development and well-being of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a holistic educational experience.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
  • Passion for working with young people and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Flexibility to work across different schools and adapt to various educational settings.
  • Previous experience in mentoring, coaching, or working with children is desirable but not essential.
