The Company

Alecto Recruitment are working with a well established Electrical Contractor based in London, who boast over 30 years experience in the electrical installations, maintenance and testing services to the Construction Industry and Property & Facilities Management sector.

With a portfolio of clients including blue chip companies, universities and hospitals, they act as the main or principle contractor carrying out a comprehensive range of fit-out services such as electrical design and installation projects, design, supply, installation, commissioning & maintenance of fire alarm & associated systems under their NSI Silver accreditation.

The Role

We are now looking to appoint an Electrical Supervisor for a mid-August start, on a full time permanent basis. The site will be based North London close to Waltham Cross.

• As Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for managing teams of specialist sub-contractors on site, installing fire alarms, PAVA (speakers), panels, and aspirating pipework on large Data Centres.
• The initial project close to Enfield will last approximately one year with more in the pipeline beyond this, and when not required on site you will be working out of the London office on similar sites across central London.
• You must be happy working at height as most of the work is high level, between 8 and 10 metres from finished floor to ceiling.
• There is parking on site, or a couple of stations approximately 10/15 mins walk.
• No vehicle is provided as the work is on one site, or in central London. Travel allowance is therefore paid.

Requirements

• To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience working as Electrical Supervisor, Charge Hand, Project Engineer or similar.
• You will ideally live local to Waltham Cross, and must be happy to travel in to Central London where required.
• You will be confident working on large industrial scale installations or fit outs, including containment, trunking, PAVA, Fire Alarms, Panels, Controls, Aspirating pipework and similar.
• Data Centre experience is preferred.
• Qualifications including 18th Edition, Test and Inspect, Working at Height, PASMA, SSSTS, CSCS.
