Escape Recruitment is working with a Renewables Manufacturer, who due to growth plans has an opportunity for a Materials Handler.

The Materials Handler will play a key member of the team assembling cutting-edge products and they will manage the day-to-day operations providing an efficient and effective store service ensuring excellent inventory control and accurate stock levels managing goods in/out.

The Materials Handler will be responsible for:

• Set up an effective stores service
• Facilitate the distribution of goods in and out of the warehouse
• Check and receive goods into the system
• Ensure adequate levels of stock are maintained to service assembly and installation
• Maintain Health and Safety procedures in the stores and keep the area tidy
• Ensure all systems are updated
• Assist in the production of monthly reports for all transactions

Knowledge and experience required for the role:

• Experience working in a similar stores/materials handler role within a fast-paced operation
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workloads.
• Must be organised, methodical and flexible
• Experience of safe working practices and H&S within Stores
• Good communication skills, a good work ethic and team working skills.
• Attention to detail
• Good computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and in-house systems
• Must be willing to undertake FL licence training and regular use.
