Graduate Surveyor- West Manchester

£22000-£25000 + Bens + Full Training

Network and Telecoms Infrastructure provider with an office on the outskirts of Manchester are looking to grow their graduate program and currently require a number of Graduate Surveyors to join the team and work with a number of key clients across the UK.

Candidates will need to be of a graduate calibre ideally with a degree and/or masters. Other routes to industry are also of interest. Knowledge of Surveying, Planning, Project/Land or Estate Management would be useful but other backgrounds also of interest if people want to diversify their knowledge base.

The position is focussed on land acquisition for network providers across the UK and your responsibility will be to speak to land and property owners across the country identifying business opportunities and then taking the project proposal through the surveying and planning process.

Masts can be situated either on land or buildings and the work you carry out will be working with a mixture of new and existing accounts putting in new proposals as well as upgrades.

The successful Graduate Surveyor will need excellent communication skills, as even though this role is not a sales position it will involve a high level of client interaction.

Full training will be provided on all stages of the project process which will include land acquisition, fee negotiation, and planning applications liaising with the local authorities, so it is really all about your communication skills, desire to work in this field and where you would like to take your career going forward.
