Account Manager - International Express Courier

Location: Manchester

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000pa (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 17:30pm)

My client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team based in Manchester. The right candidate will have experience dealing with International Express Courier/Parcel operations, with great customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent customer service.
• Promote the business to new and existing clients to help grow the International Express Courier sector.
• Completing operational administration for clients and suppliers.
• Invoicing out and completing job files.
• Quoting, booking, coordinating, managing & monitoring International Parcel movements from departure to arrival.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is supplied.
• Ensure complaints or issues are resolved or escalated in a timely manner.
• Work within an existing supplier base.

Requirements:

• International Express Parcel/Courier experience.
• Experience working for a UK based Courier/Parcel Delivery Service Provider.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication.
