WeDoData are working with a leading independent school in Somerset who are looking to appoint an IT Technician on a permanent basis.

This is a highly prestigious private school with beautiful campuses and a close-knit community. The IT team are collaborative and supportive, they are able to offer lots of hands-on ongoing training and support to the successful candidate.

My client is looking for a technically-minded, hardworking and enthusiastic individual with a passion to learn and develop their IT skills in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Applicants must have:

  • A can-do and positive approach
  • Drive to learn
  • Passion to do well
  • Accuracy and care in their work
  • Full Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be offered)

The following would be advantageous:

  • Experience working in a school (or other educational) setting
  • A further qualification in IT (e.g. A-level, apprenticeship)
  • Driver’s license and vehicle
