Overview:
Our client a long standing construction business working within the industrial and commercial buildings sector (and Civils/Groundworks) with project values from 3500k to £12m require a Senior Estimator based in their Coventry operation.

You will play a crucial role in our estimating department. We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our estimating efforts and ensure accurate cost estimates for our projects.

Duties:
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Utilize cost control techniques to monitor project expenses and identify areas for cost savings.
- Present detailed estimates to senior management and participate in bid reviews.
- Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Mentor junior estimators and provide guidance on complex estimating tasks.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
