ROLE: Deputy Head Housekeeper
Location: Sheffield
Salary & Hours: £25k per annum. 8am to 3pm, 5 days over 7

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at a prestigious hotel in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to play a key role in maintaining our high standards and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement housekeeping and company brand standards
• Lead efforts to ensure guests receive the best experience
• Maintain high standards for bedrooms and public areas through SOPs, relevant training, and daily checks
• Actively contribute to team development
• Collaborate closely with other departments (Front Office, Maintenance, and F&B)
• Proactively seek feedback and evaluate service levels
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement

Core Skills and Experience Required:

• Keen attention to detail
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, ideally as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Deputy Head Housekeeper
• Commitment to high levels of guest service and cleanliness
• Positive attitude and passion for hospitality
• Ability to remain calm in busy or difficult situations
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal and departmental targets with precision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach
