Company – Long established, national provider, invests in workforce, long-term serving and high performing national install and service team providing domestic plumbing and heating installations for new build projects and refurbishments from gas boilers to ASHP’s.

Location – Reading

Industry – Gas Boilers, Plumbing, Heating, Unvented Hot Water, Hot Water Cylinders, MVHR, HIU, Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHP’s, Renewables, Unvented Hot Water Systems, Domestic Heating.

Candidate – From within the Plumbing and Heating industry and has qualifications / certifications e.g. BPEC, G3 unvented hot water, Level 2 Plumbing and Heating, Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, Water Regulations, Domestic Gas, F-Gas and ideally gas boiler service and maintenance experience and / or ASHP installer or service and maintenance experience. 

The Position

This is a brand-new Plumbing and Heat Pump Technical Engineer position on domestic new build and refurbishment projects has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest domestic heating and plumbing providers in the UK servicing both boiler and air source heat pumps.

As the Technical Engineer you will service, technical fault find and fix boilers and ASHP's in domestic residential housing covering new build housing developments, social housing schemes including retrofit systems on existing dwellings and also 1 off spec-built projects.

Experience Required

You will have a minimum of 4 years hands on plumbing and domestic heating service and maintenance experience, ideally combined with ASHP’s, up to date plumbing qualifications and current industry regulation knowledge e.g. BPEC, G3 unvented hot water, Level 2 or Level 3 Heating and Plumbing, water regulations, Domestic Gas. F-Gas and Heat Pump Service and Maintenance or Installation. Please still apply if you are a technical domestic gas heating engineer that has been servicing and maintaining boilers or oil burners or LPG, fault finding and fixing combined with plumbing experience and qualifications.
