Are you a Corporate Governance Executive with a passion for compliance and a background in corporate governance? Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation based in Chichester, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team. As a Corporate Governance Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company complies with all corporate governance requirements.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of board minutes and notes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Managing the corporate diary and coordinating committee meetings as required.
  • Implementing and adhering to the Quoted Company Alliance (QCA) Corporate Governance Code, ensuring all relevant committees are compliant.
  • Ensuring a company suitability for listing based on Financial position and prospects procedures (FPPP).
  • Reviewing documents to identify areas where corporate governance practises can be improved and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborating with the company's top auditors to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team as needed.

What qualifications and skills do you need?

  • A background in corporate governance or compliance, with knowledge of relevant regulations and best practises.
  • Experience in a similar role, such as a Company Secretary or Compliance Officer, would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • A legal background or experience in corporate law would be beneficial but not essential.
