A global operator within the Utilities industry are currently undergoing significant growth and adding talent across the business to help with the continued growth.

The company specialise in the manufacturing and service of pumps across a variety of industries.

They are currently looking for a Valve Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis, based out of one of their Workshops.

On offer is a salary of £32,000-£33,000 plus benefits and significant opportunities to progress in the business.

Key duties:

  • Dismantle rotating equipment to component level.
  • Identification of components.
  • Compile detailed condition reports on equipment dismantled.
  • Fault-finding on break down equipment.
  • Assemble equipment using engineering drawings or experience/knowledge.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, schematics, and repair equipment, utilising specialist knowledge and standard test instruments and tools.
  • Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems encountered.
  • Present a professional Image, support and promote brand values at all times.
  • Carry out all work practices in line with Company Health and Safety Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Meet high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping.
  • Support site activities.
  • Liaise with workshop personnel at all levels.
