About the role:

This full-time, long-term Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) position in Brent offers a competitive salary of £100 – £120 per day, reflecting your experience and qualifications. Commencing immediately, you’ll play a vital role in our teaching team, supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.

The position is available due to an expansion of our support team, emphasising our commitment to personalised learning and student development. In this dynamic role, you’ll work in a supportive classroom environment with manageable class sizes, enabling you to build meaningful connections with students and contribute positively to their educational journey.

Application Requirements:

• Experience in educational settings, particularly with SEN support, and relevant HLTA qualifications.

• Proven experience in educational settings, specifically supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.

• Passion for enhancing students’ learning experiences.

• Essential experience in SEN support with a proactive approach to classroom assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives.

• Provide individualised support to students, including those with SEN, to facilitate their academic and personal development.

• Assist in the assessment and recording of student progress, contributing to the development of individual education plans (IEPs).

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student participation and well-being.
