The Role :

· Project management experience with a wide scope of responsibility to take projects from order through to full production

· To lead multi-disciplined project teams from inception to achievement of desired results

· Provide technically sound engineering solutions to achieve effective results and to resolve any potential problems or issues

· Main point of contact for designated blue-chip customers, ensuring liaisons to manage customer requirements and expectations including variations from original order

· To prepare accurate timelines for all aspects of each project

· To provide timely project status reports and presentations to the Board

About You :

· Recent / relevant experience in a Project Manager role within heavy engineering and fabrication

· Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification

· Leader in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes, systems and associated tools

· Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering information

· Effective in jig design using auto cad and inventor software

· A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

· Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
