Key Responsibilities
- Migration Oversight: Oversee the migration to z14, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal downtime.
- Service Analysis: Aid in the analysis of options for each service's migration post-z14 deployment.
- Identity and Authentication Services: Implement modern identity and authentication services, transitioning from legacy systems to these advanced solutions.
- Active Directory Expertise: Leverage specific experience with Active Directory and domain controllers to migrate to a single supported OS.
- Architectural Guidance: Provide domain architectural insights and best practises throughout the migration process.
Technical Knowledge Required
- Platform Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of platforms, specifically Z13 and Z14.
- Identity Services Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with identity services, with a preference for experts in Azure AD/Entra ID and modern authentication.
- Service Transition: Focused understanding of transitioning services from consuming AD FS to Azure AD/Entra ID.
- Active Directory: Extensive technical knowledge and experience with Active Directory and domain architecture.
- Desirable Skills: Technical knowledge of Google Suite and Google Domain authentication is a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a domain architect capacity is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud computing, identity services, or related fields are a plus.
