About the role:
We aseeka dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in managing challenging behaviours. This is a full-time position, available due to the expansion of our support team. You will be working closely with a small group of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, providing individualised support to help them thrive academically and socially.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with challenging behaviours. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of strategies to manage and support students with behavioural needs.
• Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviours.
• Implement individualised behaviour management plans.
• Assist in the development and delivery of tailored learning activities.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
