Role
Our client is looking for an Application Developer who possesses a passion for application development ensuring it fulfils customer requirements. This person will work with out team of software engineers to design and build the next generation of our web applications and it's interfaces.

To succeed in this role, you will be required to have a 'can-do' attitude and to be receptive to learning the many aspects of the business. You will be expected to approach all opportunities with the same positive attitude. You will be encouraged to suggest amendments with a view to improving functionality processes, however meeting customer requirements is paramount.

Working hours are Monday to Friday- 9am- 5pm. 
 

Duties and responsibilities

• Build applications within their MS SQL environment while helping maintain and develop the core C# .net web application
• Collaborate to define, build and deploy new features as required.
• Learn to work with the external data and sources and API's.Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and investigating application performance.
• Identify and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

Skills and experience

• Have used C# .net within a commercial environment.
• Experience of jQuery, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server.E
• xperience working with remote data via XML and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries and API's.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile architectures, trends and technologies.
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Other desirable skills:

• Knowledge of the Kendo UI Libraries
• Knowledge of the logistics industry
• Knowledge of building large-scale flexible web applications
