Project Coordinator (Wireless Design Team)

Telent's Wireless Telecommunications Design Team are currently looking for a Project Coordinator now due to an influx of works within key Wireless Telecoms projects. This is a HYBRID-working role, working at least 2 days per week at the Warwick Headquarters (CV34 5AH) if you are Midlands based or nearby, OR, 3-4 days a week out of the Chatham office (ME5 9FD) if you are Southern based or nearby. The remaining time can be spent working from home.

The Project Coordinator role will be a varied and multifaceted role, and requires strong communication skills, administration skills, scheduling, planning and coordination experience. The Project Coordinator will support different team members, including Design Engineers, CAD Designers and Project Managers etc. working across different projects across Wireless Telecommunications.

The role will be very interactive and will require interfacing with suppliers and clients to ensure everything is kept up to date, and accurately with our internal stakeholders and Engineers. You will also be working across various internal teams providing support on other wireless telecoms projects.

Project Coordinator - What you'll do:

  • General Project Administrative duties
  • Managing relationships with suppliers
  • Providing administrative support to Design, Project Managers and wider team
  • Coordinate with team regarding Engineer site access
  • Project/meeting support
  • Dealing with queries and escalating where necessary
  • Data entry on Telent and client databases
  • Using and updating systems both internal for Telent and direct Customer systems
  • Providing and updating project documentation
  • Responsible for raising purchase orders and invoicing
  • Help to prepare month end contract reviews

Project Coordinator - Who you are:

The successful Project Coordinator will naturally be well organised, able to prioritise workload based on its critically, and be able to schedule Engineers and works according to Wireless Designs and processes, be a confident user of Microsoft packages including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. Other tasks associated with this Project Coordinator opportunity include: Arranging Surveys, instructing works, looking into dependencies, arranging site access for our Surveyors and Design Engineers, checking that Purchase Orders are in place, liaising with client and subcontractors around the instructions of works, coordinating other teams including Civils teams, and ensuring that you support the wider team on administrative tasks where required. Project Coordinator - Key requirements:

  • Project Coordinator or Administrator experience within a Telecoms environment would be a strong advantage
  • Fluent user or MS Office / Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • PC / IT literate
  • Strong ability to Schedule works / align diaries / a Scheduler
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • Invoicing experience / experience of raising Purchase Orders
