Senior Engineer (Civil / Structural / Architectural)

A Senior Engineer is required to join a large contractor in their offices in Plymouth. You will be managing the delivery of engineering and technical activities on defence and nuclear projects. As part of your responsibilities, you will be resolving technical issues, compiling technical reports whilst adhering to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements.

You will work independently as part of a small team, assisting and mentoring others, whilst working on a range of engineering problems involving high levels of complexity.

As the Senior Engineer you will be educated to a degree level in a relevant engineering discipline and have high level of knowledge in a specialist subject area. The ideal candidate will have seismic and dock experience, however, candidates with construction implementation design experience will also be considered. A Chartered Engineer (or a candidate actively working toward chartered status) is preferred for this role. You will be located within commutable distance to Plymouth as you will be required to be on site 2 / 3 times a week.
