Halo Recruit are working in partnership with the worlds largest global provider of temperature-controlled logistics, to recruit for an experienced Stock Clerk to join their team in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire (NG22).

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience working in an administration / stock control position, and who are committed and reliable. Previous experience of using warehouse management systems or SAP systems would be preferred, though full training will be provided.

We are seeking candidates who are strong in IT literacy, with experience in all Microsoft Office packages, who have excellent organisational skills, and are a confident communicator both over the phone and in person. This role is working within a busy office environment; therefore the ideal candidate will be a strong team player, who is keen to learn and develop within their role.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, therefore only candidates looking for a long-term, permanent position should apply.

Duties of the Role:

• Stock administration, including data input and stock allocations using the Company's computerised warehouse management system
• Determining stock supply and need for replenishment
• Investigating damages, inventory adjustments and shrink issues
• Maintaining the booking diary
• Signing PODs and liaising with drivers
• Scanning of documentation and uploading to the system
• Handling telephone queries, diverting to the necessary people as required
• Assist with new goods in / out booking requests, using Outlook to diarise

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday, 8am - 2:30pm

Rate of Pay:

This role pays £12.39 per hour, paid weekly in arrears

Location

The site is located in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. Bilsthorpe is a rural location, and there are no public transport routes which take you directly to site, therefore only candidates with access to their own transport, or who live locally in the village and can walk to work, will be considered.

Contract Start Date:

This role is due to commence immediately.
