Job Overview:

We are currently looking to recruits within Operations at the Stoke site; Despatch Operative on a rotating 2 shift pattern

6am-2pm

2pm-10pm

The ideal candidate should have previous experience of working in a warehouse environment including working shifts.

Key duties and responsibilities for this role will include:

· To undertake the tasks allocated at the start of each shift.

· To pick/load and marshal product, (noting any special requirements), as indicated on sales order pick notes, replenishing pick faces where applicable.

· To complete all necessary paperwork, including quantities picked and time to complete picking operation.

· To securely wrap pallets and complete customer pallet labels for each marshalled pallet.

· Report to Team Leader of product shortages, quality issues or delivery problems.

· To follow all trailer and container loading procedures paying attention to safety, possible product damage and quality of service.

· To undertake other tasks deemed within the job holder’s capability.

· To ensure correct manual handling lifting techniques are always adhered to.

· To maintain high levels of housekeeping within the warehouse.

· The ability to work as part of a team is also important.

· A current Reach FLT license would be advantage, although training will be given

Pay: £15.11 per hour
