Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting kitchens in council properties, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and within set timeframes. You will be expected to manage your own workload efficiently and maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with tenants and council representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and assemble kitchen units, worktops, and appliances according to design specifications.
• Install kitchen fittings including cabinets, sinks, taps, worktops, splashbacks, and appliances.
• Conduct preliminary assessments to determine the scope of work and prepare necessary materials.
• Carry out any necessary plumbing, electrical, and tiling work associated with kitchen fitting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, council representatives, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Report any issues or delays promptly to the project manager.
• Complete work within the agreed timeframe and budget.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Own van and tools required for the job.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in kitchen fitting, carpentry, or related fields are advantageous.
• Excellent understanding of kitchen installation processes, including plumbing and electrical considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
