This is a great opportunity for an experienced, punctual, hard-working individual to join our fantastic team at Photocast Products Ltd (Liverpool) one of the UK’s largest producers of cast bronze and chemically etched zinc signage in varying forms for a wide variety of sectors.
We are seeking a strong minded, problem-solving person, with working experience and a fine eye for detail to become a key member of our production team – working closely with the General Manager and experienced team to learn the job on a hands-on basis and to grow with the company as we branch into new lines of work whilst maintaining our core business.
Workshop Operative Day-to-Day Duties Include:
- Chemical etching of sheet metal plates
- Handling and sorting cast metal plates
- Preparing finished goods for painting & polishing
- Stock control
- Teamworking
- Hand finishing using manual and automated tools
The ideal Workshop Operative applicant will have:
- working experience
- preferably having used manual and powered hand tools
- be a quick learner
- the self-driven ability to work through daily jobs and projects with a systematic approach.
