About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team, focusing on providing boosters for low-achieving students. This is a part-time role, requiring your expertise for three days a week. The position has become available due to our ongoing commitment to enhancing student support and intervention programs.

You will be working with small groups of students, providing tailored assistance to help them achieve their full potential. Our class sizes are small, allowing for personalised attention and a more impactful learning experience. You will receive significant support from our experienced staff and the opportunity for continuous professional development through regular training and workshops.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with young children, particularly in a support or intervention capacity.

• A good understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and educational needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards helping low-achieving students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support and interventions for low-achieving students in Key Stage 1.

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging booster sessions.

• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
