What does the role entail?

• Minimise machinery downtime and plan preventative maintenance
• Ensure safe working practices and meet production plans
• Develop and implement engineering team development plans
• Maintain compliance with audit standards and manage engineering budgets
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure legal compliance within the engineering function
• Plan and conduct reactive and proactive maintenance on packaging and process equipment
• Maintain documentation for historical records of breakdowns and PPMs
• Participate in projects from machinery upgrades to building work
• Identify spare parts requirements and maintain stock levels
• Adhere to all company health & safety policies
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and communicate with managers
• Coordinate projects and direct technical activities to achieve goals
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required

What we're looking for:

Experience in FMCG/Food Production
Knowledge of packaging machines
Food Hygiene Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 trained
18th Edition Electrical Qualification
Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
