Community Stoma Care Nurse (part time)

Are you an NMC registered nurse looking for a part time opportunity? Offering three days a week to suit you and long term career development and support you will use your nursing background to work in the community covering the Midlands area.
Working mainly within the Primary Care sector you will assess patients in their own homes, hospital and GP surgeries, run nurse led clinics and implement clinical and product reviews using your clinical background in colorectal or stoma care nursing.
You will advise GPs, ICBs and MMGs on how to rationalise the prescribing of stoma products offering GP review clinics, home visits and through feedback of results. In addition, you will offer clinic appointments to the company's existing patients and support Health Care Professionals by advising on best practice through clinical patient reviews resulting in the delivery of improved patient care. You will also provide limited cover for annual leave etc on hospital sites - either Queens Hospital, Burton or George Eliot in Nuneaton.
