Edu Talent Agency has a fantastic Primary School School who is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work within KS1 in September 2024.

The SEN School is based in the borough of Bromley and has a GOOD Ofsted rating. They have a fantastic SLT, who value themselves as working as part of a team and pride themselves on being supportive.

They are looking for supportive, dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to work along side the class Teacher and support the students either one 1-1 basis or within groups within the class.

Below are also some of the things you may do throughout your day:

  • Getting the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards so as to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
  • Recording and reporting a pupil's progress to the Teacher
  • Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
  • Supervising group activities, sports events and school outings
  • Helping Teachers manage student behaviour
  • Looking after children who are unwell or upset
  • Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children

Experience not necessary but if you have experience in working with pupils with any of the additional needs below that would be valuable.

  • Autism
  • Emotional Behaviour
  • ADHD

The working hours are 8:30am to 16:00pm with an hours lunch break.

DBS on the update service required and Safeguarding course level 2 must be completed before considered for the role.
