Reception / Administrator

Location: Mansfield/ Nottinghamshire

Salary: £22,500 per year  

Position Type:

Availability: Hours –08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday 37.5 hours between these hours - Flexibility to work some weekends if needed (must be available on Wednesdays)

Reception - Role Overview:

An established, friendly medical Clinic based Nottinghamshire is looking to appoint a reception/ administrator. You will be responsible for being the face of the company at reception and greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner. Will be expected to deal with patient enquiries and appointment bookings both in person and via phone and email for a range of clinics.

Reception Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and manage reception duties
  • Handle patient enquiries and appointment bookings
  • Manage email correspondence and inbox
  • Maintain accurate databases with clinical and nonclinical information
  • Diary management, scheduling, and recordkeeping
  • Type letters, reports, and manage general documentation
  • Conduct audits and produce reports as required
  • Respond to and direct incoming calls, ensuring accurate message recording and timely delivery
  • Provide comprehensive clerical support
  • Efficiently manage work to meet response deadlines

Reception - Who We're Looking For:

  • Previous customer service experience (desired but not essential)
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to learn new IT systems quickly
  • Excellent written communication and telephone manner
  • High attention to detail and wellorganized
  • Ability to prioritize workloads independently and meet strict deadlines
  • Capable of handling sensitive information
  • Focused on providing highlevel service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
