Overview:
 We are looking for a proactive Document Controller to provide day-to-day oversight of pre-contract and contract document control. This role is essential to managing the documents received daily, ensuring efficient administration, distribution, and tracking to support project progress.

Specializing exclusively in CAT B fitouts, their projects typically range around £2 million, with significant projects reaching up to £3.5 million. Operating primarily in high-profile areas such as Mayfair and the West End. A significant portion of their work comes directly from referrals, highlighting a strong emphasis on delivery quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the site project team in site setup.
  • Manage and maintain the project on Conject throughout its life cycle, ensuring protocols are adhered to.
  • Ensure all relevant parties publish relevant documents to Conject and provide support to external parties when necessary.
  • Maintain an awareness of project team members, trade contractors, and professional partners and the part they play in successful project delivery and ongoing activities.
  • Establish a close relationship with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth running of the system.
  • Ensure that an effective internal and external review loop is maintained so that all documents are properly reviewed by the Project Team and external Design Team.
  • Provide accurate and timely information and reports regarding the status of all drawings, O&M manuals, samples, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Typing, distribution, and filing of all project-related correspondence for the project team.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is issued to the relevant trades and consultants.
  • Log, distribute promptly, and keep updated various instructions from consultants, clients, and project managers.
  • Manage the approval and printing of O&M manuals if required.
  • Archive project documentation.
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery supplies.
  • Checking and ordering of all provisions, i.e., stationery, tea, coffee, etc.
  • Ordering of reprographics and couriers where necessary.
