Role Overview
As a Maths Teacher you will have the exciting opportunity to engage and challenge students, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics. You will deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities, encouraging students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging lessons: Plan, prepare, and teach inspiring and challenging maths lessons that stimulate students’ interest and understanding.
• Curriculum development: Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive maths curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school’s academic goals.
• Student assessment: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and address any areas for improvement.
• Supportive environment: Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning and ensures all students feel valued and supported.
• Extracurricular activities: Participate in and lead extracurricular activities such as maths clubs, competitions, and study groups to further enhance students' learning experiences.
• Collaborative approach: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental initiatives, and support the continuous improvement of the maths department.
• Commitment to safety: Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Desired experience
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Experience in organising and leading extracurricular activities is highly desirable.
