Title Technical Sales Advisor – Animal Feeds Specialist.
Location: Remote – specialising in Republic of Ireland.
Salary - €50,000 plus up to 6% bonus
Employment type: Contract 12-month maternity cover
Working for the global leader in their sector a great opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Advisor to cover 12-month maternity leave.
Operating as a lead point of contact you will be responsible for the promotion and selling of the client’s products and services. You will lead the co-ordination of all technical, commercial, operational requirements for your allocated accounts with support from the functional experts within the team.
Key accountabilities
- Routine technical support of customers.
- Acts as technical resource to sales professionals and customers.
Value Selling
- Asks questions which uncover implied needs.
- Builds value for the customer.
- Demonstrates company’s capability by explaining how company’s products and services match a customer’s explicit
Knowledge sharing
- Introducing new solutions and concepts to the customer.
- Prepares technical presentations and demonstrates how a product meets client needs.
- Facilitates in training for internal sales professionals and on-site technical training for customers.
Internal networking
- Responsible to maintain and build own product and technical knowledge in relevant product categories by taking local & global technical trainings and by collaborating with the sales team, product development and Global Innovation. Based on input from Marketing and Pricing measures, prepares and quotes customers, in order to advise customers appropriately and to conclude the sale of product.
