We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee our arboriculture projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree care and management, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of arboriculture sites, ensuring all activities are performed safely and efficiently.
Lead and coordinate a team of arborists and ground crew, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily tasks and projects, allocating resources effectively to meet client expectations and project deadlines.
Conduct site assessments and develop project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns or requests.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance logs.
Work to LOLER and PUWER legislation  

Experience and Qualifications:

Experience in arboriculture, including tree care, pruning, removals, and preservation techniques.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Extensive knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and tree health diagnostics.
Proficiency in the use of arboriculture tools and equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, ropes, and climbing gear.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to tree care operations.
SSSTS
CSCS
PTS (Personal Track Safety) would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions and team coordination.
