Job Description:

As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex ETL processes using Azure Datalake, Data Factory & Databricks while also maintaining custom-built databases on Azure SQL with the help of agile methodologies such as Scrum.

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- 5+ years experience working within database development/engineering roles

Skills required (if not covered by qualifications):

-Azure DevOps knowledge is essential since it involves continuous integration/deployment pipelines

-Python programming skills that enable creating testable code which enables easy debugging

-Confluence/Jira proficiency - You'll need these tools when collaborating closely with other developers!

-Knowledge about Power BI would prove beneficial too!

In addition to having technical expertise being able work independently whilst ensuring smooth communication flow between various stakeholders involved such Product Owners , Business Analysts etc., alongside following best practices related software engineering like writing clean documented codes should come naturally if applying
