We are looking to work with an SEN Teaching Assistant who can work on a 1:1 basis with pupils, in a primary school based in Middleton. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils in the classroom whilst liasing with the teacher, promoting engagement, alongside working 1:1 with children with educational and health needs. This role may require some personal care.

Hours: 08.30 - 15.30 (32.5 hours) 5 days a week, September start.

The successful SEN Teaching assistant will:

  • Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Have experience working with and/or caring for children (in an education setting is desirable)
  • Hold a valid DBS (we can provide if you don't have one)
  • First aid qualified (desirable)
  • Are committed to working with confidentiality and discretion
