Assistant Quantity Surveyor Duties:

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.
• Support the monitoring and control of project expenditures.
• Help in the development and management of tender documents, contracts, and procurement processes.
• Assist in contract administration, including managing variations, claims, and disputes.
• Contribute to identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
• Track and report on financial progress to stakeholders.
• Prepare valuations, process progress payments, and certify completed work.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role or internship within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations.
