Duties of this Mechanical Maintenance Engineers Role:
- Provide an Mechanical engineering service to the production team to achieve minimal down time
- Proactive for carrying out planned maintenance duties
- Insuring you are commercially aware of budgets to ensure there is the right amount of spares
- Look at ways to continuously improve efficiencies and downtime
- Collect and compile all data as requested
- To encourage and motivate trainee fitters and apprentices and offer assistance
- Maintaining and working in a safe manner, highlighting any safety concerns
- Minimum of a level three Mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience within a manufacturing maintenance department
- Heavy to medium industry
- Some PLC knowledge would be an advantage
- Two days on, two nights on and four off
- £48,512.10 basic & shift allowance
- Paid overtime
- 20 days holiday
