Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Westbury who are actively looking to recruit a Quality Controller to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Technical Manager and be responsible for the following:

  • Auditing of the factory, processes, products, and records to verify the business is operating to the agreed standards & procedures (e.g. GMP audits).
  • Product evaluation panels, including the instigation and follow up of any associated corrective actions.
  • Co-ordinate the microbiological testing schedule, swabbing and sampling.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous experience working in food factory looking after quality control.
  • An understanding of microbiology
  • Food Hygiene standards
  • Auditing experience.

What you will receive in return:

  • Salary: £28,600 to £30,800 DOE including the annual 10% bonus
  • Annual Bonus scheme: 10% annual bonus based on personal, Group and UK performance.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (07.30AM -15.30PM or 08.00AM -16.00PM.
  • Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays - Opportunity to earn an additional 2 days per year for 100% attendance.
