Are you looking for a hands-on role in the timber cutting industry? We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our clients team as a Timber Cutting Operative.

About the Role:

As a Timber Cutting Operative, you will be an integral part of our clients operations, responsible for the accurate cutting and handling of various wood materials including MDF and plywood. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and cutting timber materials accurately.
  • Operating wood cutting machinery (training provided).
  • Reading and interpreting cutting forms and measurements.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Working Hours:

  • Standard operating hours: 06:30 AM - 04:30 PM.
  • Initial training period hours: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, until competency in operating saws solo is achieved.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for reading and cutting form numbers.
  • No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
  • An interest in wood cutting machinery is an advantage.
