We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Co Ordinator to join our FMCG client in Rochester. Supporting the Health, Safety and Environment Manager and Operations Teams to drive implementation and maintenance of an ambitious programme of Health, Safety and Environmental improvements.

Responsibility for delivering safety, health, and environmental improvement activities, and providing competent advice and coaching in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will need to have the:

  • Understanding of Regulatory Requirements and Procedures.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a highly demanding fast-paced working environment.
  • Collaborative style
  • Root cause analysis
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience of delivering training and coaching to employees.
  • Experience of writing and reviewing management system procedures, to comply with ISO or similar standards.
  • Experience in carrying out workplace audits and inspections and determining appropriate actions and accountability.

Our client also requires the following:

  • Experience in a similar manufacturing/FMCG environment.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant Degree qualification or equivalent
  • IOSH qualification
