Our client in Alton is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently, ensuring highest standard of customer satisfaction.
    • Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Sales Support
    • Assist external sales representatives with order processing, quotations, and follow-ups.
    • Prepare and send proposals, quotations, and invoices to clients.
    • Maintain and update customer records and sales databases.
  • Lead Generation
    • Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely and provide support to the Sales Order Processing team, Marketing, and external Sales Team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Essential Skills & Qualities:

Ideally you will be a proactive, customer-focused individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. Also, a proven track record in sales, a strong understanding of sales processes, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a sales or customer role
  • CRM, SAP, and Microsoft application experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills
