Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Shift times: 40 hours per week, Hybrid Working Available after training
Salary: £27,000 per annum pro rata
Location: Belfast, BT39 0RA

This assignment will last for 4-6 months due to increased workload

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our national client for an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team.

You will be responsible for Accounts payable and Accounts receivable. Logging and Registering Invoices, you will accurately log and register client invoices into the accounting system and ensure they are distributed to the appropriate departments for approval. Perform regular reconciliations of key supplier statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved. Address and resolve any invoice queries promptly, liaising with suppliers and internal departments as necessary. Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of the financial records, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.

To succeed, you will need:

• Minimum of 1 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role, demonstrating a solid understanding of purchase ledger processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritise daily work requirements effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all tasks.
• Experience with Navision is preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of invoice matching to purchase orders
• Experience with electronic payment systems
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
