An East London based secondary school are looking to appoint a small number of Graduates to work as teaching assistants from September 2024. This teaching assistant role would be ideal for Graduates who have an interest in teaching and are keen to spend the academic year working as a teaching assistant.

Each academic year this London based secondary school look to take on a small number of Graduates to work as teaching assistants. These Graduates are often thinking about a career in teaching and are looking to gain invaluable secondary school experience in anticipation for potentially commencing teacher training in the future.

As a teaching assistant at this Tower Hamlets bases secondary school the Graduate teaching assistants work closely with students of all abilities from year 7 - year 11. You will be working closely with the schools learning support department giving potential teachers of the future the opportunity to gain vital hands on experience. You will be working closely with experienced teachers giving you the opportunity to learn various teaching techniques.

The school are looking to hear from Graduates who have gained some form of experience with young people - paid or voluntary. They are also looking for Graduates who are thinking about a potential career in teaching and are considering commencing a Schools Direct/PGCE in the future.
