We are currently seeking to recruit a HGV/LGV C+E Night Driver to work with our Client on a contracted ongoing basis. My Client works on behalf of one of the UK's largest car parts manufacturers. Delivering stock into RDC's around the Midlands.

The job duties for the successful HGV/LGV Driver include:

• Handball work – cages, loose items – not heavy
• Delivering to Car show room retailers through the night.
• Tail lift use
• Using scanner to POD freight once loaded and delivered.
• Placing freight into lock ups and storage places using keys and alarm pads to access.
• Collecting returns/empties
• Following set route and adhering to “just-in-time” drops.
• 3 / 4 drops per night
• Time critical
• Full training will be given.

What we are looking for:

• A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) 3 months minimum.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.
• NO DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions
• Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria
• Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or with a team.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
• Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
• Must have a good understanding of English and be a good communicator, paperwork involved.
