We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Production Operatives in Leigh! Ideally, you will have a strong background in Manufacturing.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• (Rotating, must be able to do all on a weekly rota)
• 6am - 2pm
• 2pm - 10pm
• 10pm - 6am

Benefits:

• After 6-8 weeks of training an additional allowance of £1,355 is paid.

Pay:

• £27,331 - £28,546 (inclusive of shift allowance)

Duties:

• To manufacture high performance cable to within specification following approved procedures.
• To maintain high levels of output in line with manufacturing requirements.
• Working with machinery within a production environment.
• To preserve product quality through care and attention to detail in line with manufacturing standards and defined procedures.
• To maximise plant efficiency and look after equipment.
• To maintain high standards of workplace organisation in line with Lean practices.
• To maintain good written standards and communicate well with colleagues and others in the business
• To work with and support the Manufacturing Director, Process Team Leaders and other members of the shift teams, to promote effective working practices.

Experience:

• Manufacturing experience essential.
• Experience of shift work (including nights) desirable.
