A leading global design and engineering consultancy with over 100 years of experience seeks a passionate Process Safety Engineer to join their team. The company is at the forefront of delivering transformative projects in the UK nuclear industry, helping to build a carbon-free future.

About the Role:
  • Play a critical role in ensuring the safety of complex, innovative projects across nuclear new build and science & industry sectors.
  • Lead on process safety, minimizing risks in multidisciplinary designs.
  • Supervise and guide the delivery of high-quality technical safety activities.
  • Contribute to proposals and bids for future projects.
  • Thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment where their voice is valued.
Key Skills
  • Experience designing and supervising process safety activities (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA etc.).
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice (COMAH, DSEAR etc.).
  • Experience in consequence analysis and risk assessments.
  • A passion for safety leadership and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
