Reed Food and FMCG are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a RTE Food Manufacturing Business in Slough.
Our client is ideally looking for someone who has experience with high-risk products and has Quality Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join a company who are growing at a rapid rate.
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Slough
Salary: up to £43,000 Per Annum
Responsibilities:
Ensure the factory is always audit ready and the Quality Management system is up to date and being followed.
Deputise for the Technical Manager in their absence
Support the management of third party (BRC) and customer audits
HACCP deputy team leader, responsible for the maintenance of the HACCP plan and prerequisite program including the implementation of procedures, check sheets, verification and validation. This includes supporting vaccp and taccp.
Ensure up to date customer specifications to meet food safety, legal and customer requirements are utilised.
Person Specification
2 / 3 years QA / Technical experience in chilled short shelf-life food manufacturing environment.
Experience of leading an external customer and regulatory audit / visit.
Have a good level of understanding of BRC
Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP trained
