Teach Plus are currently working with an Outstanding primary school located in Slough who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in KS2 this September.

The school is a 2-form entry, oversubscribed primary school that strives to provide an exceptional education and encourage a passion for lifelong learning. Children are excited to come to school and respond well to the primary class teacher's high expectations with enthusiasm and give their full commitment and concentration to all learning.

The role is a general support role, working in Year 3, you will be supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities and running of the classroom, working with small groups of children and delivering interventions.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:

• Establish positive relationships with the pupils, parents, class teachers and other members of staff across the school
• Support the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom, planning activities and resources for the classroom
• Deliver interventions in English, Maths and other subjects to small groups of children

The ideal candidate for the Teaching Assistant role will have:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or a genuine desire to start a career within education
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
