An established and friendly law firm in Preston is seeking a skilled Litigation Fee Earner/Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paralegal, fee earner, or newly qualified solicitor to advance their career in a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload including - company & commercial litigation, property litigation, contested wills & probate, boundary disputes, landlord & tenant dispute, harassment and defamation cases, contract disputes, professional negligence claims, intellectual property matters, and medical negligence claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft documents, and prepare cases for trial.
  • Liaise with clients, providing expert legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a litigation fee earner, experienced paralegal, or NQ solicitor.
  • Strong knowledge of various litigation matters.
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and independently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to case management.
