We’re recruiting a Supply Chain Director for a multi-site manufacturing and distribution business who has realised phenomenal growth over the last 5 years. As part of their continued development, they are looking for a senior supply chain professional to join at an executive level and help steer the business. You’ll be at the forefront of the operation, designing and implementing a world class supply chain strategy that will introduce controls to improve efficiencies and reduce costs without compromising on-time deliveries and outstanding customer service.

With a focus on demand, supplier management as well as stock, service, waste and sales & operational planning, you’ll look for ways to optimize each and report regularly to the board on performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll need to take a forensic review of all supply chain processes, highlight risks and improvement areas and identify and implement steps to mitigate risk.

Leading the supply chain team across demand planning, procurement, inventory management along with warehousing and fulfilment you will help them develop into high performing experts in their area who work cohesively, all whilst improving operational processes and reliability.

What do you need?

• 10 years supply chain experience in logistics in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrable end to end manufacturing supply chain knowledge from demand through to fulfilment.
• Experience in WMS/MRP systems.
• Purchasing, planning and international logistics background
• Proven successes in leading change initiatives
• CIPS qualifications highly desirable
• Passionate about sustainability
• Highly analytical mindset with strong financial acumen
