Location: Edinburgh East
Rate of Pay: £12.81 per hour
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 08.00-17.00 with 60min break
Duration: Ongoing
Immediate Start

This position will be subjected to a PVG check. New applicants to the scheme would be £59 and updates £18

Full training, PPE and overtime available

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport users to and from schools and day centres, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
• Assist users in boarding and exiting the minibus, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle, conducting regular checks and reporting any issues promptly.
• Build positive relationships with users, parents, and staff, fostering a friendly and supportive environment.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and school transport policies.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license with D1 category (essential).
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with children or individuals with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring and patient attitude with a strong commitment to user welfare.
